It has been the care of motherly hands the reason I have made it through life this far. As an adult I have come to realize it is not just my physical mothers hearts but elements of the earth that I will give back to. I dedicate all work towards them and our earthly realm, holding all children and healing through the breath.

Due to an injury while working graveyard shift at a main hospital facility in the East Bay, California and going to school full time I exhausted my nerves and overall health. As an addict I had to realize nothing that was numbing my cells was actually helping my pain. I had to understand where the pain was stemming from in order to begin to relieve it. Dr. Hebrard got me into a pain management routine for four weeks and it was then when I first began to conscientiously
meditate and depend my understanding of historical trauma. Ten years later, sober of chemicals, a ton of breathing practices and study, I understand the healing mechanisms that come with an attentive breath and it is my goal to share it widely.

At A Life of Awareness it is through body movement, breath, words and art that I take an approach to daily healing. Understanding the attention to both left and right side of the brain being worked while in an art project allows the heart to fully speak to the world through voice and visual expression. While creating children's books I realized how fast a practice can spread so I created Breathe In Breathe Out, a logo that when seen allows us to come back to our source and continue a connected conscious day.
In 2017 I started A Life of Awareness with another instructor, Ursula Stoller, bringing breath practices to children. It is my goal now to bring it to youth and adults outside of schools. In 2017 I started A Life of Awareness with another instructor, Ursula Stoller, bringing breath practices to children. It is my goal now to bring it to youth and adults outside of schools. I have been teaching in schools since 2014 and now moving forward with the model from the Center of Mind Body Medicine. As different doctors informed me of having carpal tunnel and fibromyalgia I decided to not undergo any surgeries and healed through diet and breath on my own terms. I am no longer in the same pain I was in while taking medications and it is my goal to share the benefits of the breath for mind and body health so others can also benefit from the balance of alternative medicine and western knowledge.

Imagine there is a gate that opens every time we bring our attention to our body and breathing. This gate allows good chemicals to process through the brain and body. Healing transmitters like dopamine, oxytocin, and serotonin flow through the body giving healing to our nerves, hormones, internal organs, our cognitive focus, attention and even helps guide us to have a nights rest.
